Beauty haul june 2014!

Hello! thought i would share with you my beauty haul! I have had a wee bit of a fall out with my nails the past few weeks and it resulted in this! Ha ha.
so here i go!

First thing to mention is the Elegant Touch Little mix Perrie nails! These are the press on nails but as you can see i bought nail glue to fix them on with. I have herd really good things about these from other bloggers so expect good things!
I bought the nails from Savers for £3.99 (you can get them from Bodycare for the same price!)
the glue is from Superdrug and was £2.99.

I also have just ran out of this AMAZING volume dry shampoo! So managed to catch it in Boots on offer for £2.65 down from £3.99. It really is good. I have super fine hair which it manages to  double in size!!
The nail wraps are from Superdrug and cost 60p. Bargain!!

Last but not least going from left to right is the nail art pen froom Superdrug for 50p!
The Carmex hand gel (to protect my nephew from my nasty hand germs) from Superdrug for £1.00.
And the Rimmel scandel eyes eye shadow stick in paranoid purple! I bought this from asda for £1.65! Asda is so good for prices!!

hope you enjoyed my haul as much as i did buying it!!
Lots of love sue xx

Beauty box Suzi style!

hello again! I have decided to get busy and get blogging! I have never been very good with words but when you find things you love i feel you have to tell people about them! just so happens i frigging love makeup! so here i go again, bare with me i promise its worth it!

So on other people's blogs and intagram i have been seeing beauty boxes. 5 or so products for little over a tenner! I LOVED the idea of this! so i started looking at my options! which box to choose?! some were more beauty, some more skincare.
But the more i looked the more unsure i was. The idea is to test these products, which unfortunately means you get tester sizes most of the time! Also another down side for me was the skin care side!
Don't get me wrong i love my skin, i just havnt the patence, time or large stash of cash to spend on face creams.

And then it hit me, my best friend has just gone to uni at Newcastle and is now queen of bargain beauty! so after a chat and some eye lash fluttering on my part i persuaded her to do me my own bespoke beauty box! I mean who els could pick what i would like better! and so it began!

Contents of my beauty box!
The top picture shows Rimmel lasting finish by Kate lipstick, number 20. I cant find a name for this shade which is always a shame, i do love a good name! My description of this colour? Bright barbie pink! Its a lovely fun colour!!
Also in the top pictue is Dainty Doll by Nicola Roberts, number 007 lollipops & roses. And i have to say this eye shadow is totally amazing!!! Im keeping my fingers crossed Nicola decides to make more! The pigment is amazing!! The colours are bold and perfect for my pale and pasty skin! I really cant praise this eyeshade enough! AMAZING!!!!!

The secoond photo shows the selection of mini ciate nail varnishes! left to right, knickerbockerglory, boudoir, main stage and sugar plum! All these colours are up to the usual ciate high standard!

So last but defiantly not least in photo 3 is the saffron nail polish N.05, i havnt tryed this polish yet but the glitter looks good! Also i this photo is revlon baby stick for lips and cheeks. not sure what the colour is? But with the waxy smell and oily texture id say its not worth finding out to tell you! maby its gone off but i dont think ill be buying another to find out!

Was this the best beauty box ever? Well at 10pound for 8 items i certanly think so!
So grab a friend! flutter your eyes and see what they can come up with!

bye for now! sue x x x

nails!!!!

These blue nails where made with my Ciate advent calendar colours! I used number 063, power dressing for the blue base and then number 089, halo on over the top on half the nail. Very nice and glittery! Love it!!

I love this new boots seventeen off the wall graffiti nail effects I put a pink colour under this and it just looks AMAZING!! People commented on this lots and and everyone thought it was some fancy effect but no it’s just one varnish!!

This is the new Barry M number 318, dolly mixture over the top of another advent Ciate. I won’t tell you the name of this base colour as it lasted a day and died! It took 5 coats to cover and was just pants!! The dolly mixture was gold colour and lovely though. It reminds me of feathers?? I got one in black too. Will try that and probably put it on here too!! See you again soon!! x

Cath kidston Hand Bag Duo, what i thought!

Hello! Today I am going to review a Cath Kidston star collection hand bag duo! This set has a multi-purpose balm and a lip gloss for £8.00. I was very excited to read about this set in a magazine and then even more excited to hear we were getting them into the shop I work at!

They come in two scents I believe, the one I bought is lime and mint which smell’s heavenly or you can get the star rose & peony which you will love if you liked the rose scented products before.
I love the new packaging with the new toiletry product range as it’s a bit more fun than the range before less grown up in a fun way!!

Anyhow! Let’s crack it open and have a try, first up is the lip gloss. This is very thick and balmy. It also feels very moisturising when you put it on. It’s not too scented and defiantly not sticky! I am not a fan of lip gloss at all but I love this!!! Just reading the back it says it has beeswax in there too! Lush! I would give this a 8/10 mainly because it has no colour what’s so ever and I would like a wee bit of a tint!!

Right now on to the multi-purpose balm. I’m not really sure what this is for!? It says moisturising multi purpose balm with beeswax and shea butter providing instant hydration for very dry skin. Perfect for knees and elbows.
Hummmm I don’t have any very dry skin to try this on!?! Oooh I found a patch on my ankle.  Again it smells so good! It’s not greasy but it does take a lot to get rid of the dryness if that makes sense! This probably won’t put it into my bag until the winter though. So I’ll give this a 5/10 just because you need a lot and I’m not sure what I will use it much?

So to sum it up I think this a lovely set for a gift. I think that the price is good and I will be using the lip balm lots!! Yay!! Speak soon! Xxx
