One more for the road!

Well this is what I’m super chuffed about! I saw a bag in a magazine! A bag by my favourite high street designer combo! H by Henry Holland for Debenhams! As soon as I set eyes on the clutch bag I wanted one of my very own! But it was sold out AND last season stock. How it got by me I will never know! So after many fruitless attempts to get my grubby little paws on it I had all but given up WHEN I walked into my local Debenhams. Thought I’d have a wee peak at the bags and THERE IT WAS! It was full price but that wasn’t going to stop me! Ha ha. But then to top it off at the till it had 10% off!!!! So now I’m very proud owner of this beaut!!

I think it's bag love!

Playing with nails!

These to lovelies are my friends Amy and Laurens nails! They wanted something done so I got my Wahh nail’s book out and did these!! The top is candy stripes (Amy) and the bottom is tartan (loz).
Now these!! I went to Superdrug, Always a fail as I just can’t help myself!!  So I bought 3 Rimmel colours and two Mua fur-effects! Below I tried the purple colour which is lush and the fur! I wasn’t the biggest fan of the fur but I will try again. One thing I do say with the fur is that it’s not long lasting so wear it for special occasions and try not to wash your hands too much! Horrid I know!

But I had a thought about the red Rimmel colour! Red Dorothy glitter nails with bows! Ohhhhh yes please!! But who to try them on?? Amy! An always willing guinea pig!! I was disappointed with the photo of them as the lighting was bad and I didn’t have my good camera with me! But in the flesh I LOVED them and will be putting them on me some time soon!

Haven’t quite got it nailed!

As with any art nail art it doesn’t always go right! As I found out big style when trying to do Little Miss Delicious inspired nails! (find her on facebook her jewellery realy is fab!!) But I did learn from them so it wasn’t hours wasted for nothing!! I will put them one here just for a laugh mainly. The picture of the nail varnish n tools where what I thought I might need. the nail files just look pritty so i thought id share! I didn’t use all the colours but it took a lot!!

Happy Valentine one and all!

Hello! I have had a super first two months of 2013! I have been to see Paloma Faith at Newcastle! She was stunning and put on an amazing show. I’ve had a sneaky valentine’s mini break with the chap to a cabin in the country and done LOTS of vintage shopping!! I also went to see the new movie les miserable with my mother! We always manage to pic the saddest of film. And this was no exception! Nothing like a good weepy!!! And by god it was good!! Anne Hathaway deserves a Oscar for her performance!! She was amazing!!

Above, Paloma Faith doing her thing oh so well.
Below, These are my Valentines nails done in our cabin. My love shack nails! Tee hee!! Get it!!??
There hovering above a copy of vintage life! Best magazine around!!

Now these two beauties are vintages finds! The mouse is from a charity shop from a town near where I live and was 50p! Proper bargain! And my tin was from a vintage shop in Newcastle for £1.50. I can’t remember what its name was but it’s right next to Attica vintage. The shop was a little gem!! I bought a top annnnnd a belt too!! Joy!

If they stand still too long i will paint there nails!

Hello! Long-time no paint! I and the girls had a night in the other day watching phantom of the opera!! Amazing film!!! Took my nail stuff with me (as you do tee hee) and I did these! A big thank you to my friends being my guinea pigs!!
Starting top left is a pink and purple candy stripe! Top right is a dark purple with glitter tips!! And then bottom is my twist on a French manicure which was pastel blue and green with silver tips! All were done with Primark’s two pound set of four nail varnish!! Apart from the glitter which is Barry M!! The Primark nail varnish lasts for ages and smells really nice when using!!!
Enjoy!!
